Cartooning and Animation Students undergo a 3-year rigorous course of study. The program is designed to build conceptual ability, creative problem solving, artistic and technical skills, plus enforce academic understanding. Cartooning students are required to complete two portfolios, one for college during their junior year, and the other to seek employment in their senior year. Prospective students can expect to accomplish: Life Drawing, 2D Animation, Surface Anatomy, Character Designing, Model Sheets, Storyboards, 3-DToy Prototypes, writing Short Stories, Comic Book Design, Web Site Design. Throughout the Cartooning program, students will be challenged with real world projects and exercises, preparing them for college and beyond.
